Mission Statement:
Assure the effective implementation, maturity assessment and improvement of all processes along the entire value chain to improve customer satisfaction and increase profitability in a safe working environment across the local business.
Main Accountabilities:
1. Quality OpEx strategies
Defines and develops Quality and Operational Excellence (QOpEx) strategies in line with ABB QOpEx strategy, and supports their local adoption and deployment to accelerate the rate of operational improvement across the entire value chain.
2. Organizational goals
Works with local management team to set coherent and aligned QOpEx priorities and targets across the entire value chain, monitor progress, analyze QOpEx Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and act on deviations from targets.
3. Improvement capability
Deploys the standard quality improvement approach (i.e. 4Q) within all areas of the local organization to continuously improve business practices and performance.
4. Excellence
Drives application and development of group-wide best practice frameworks across the entire value chain to embed a culture of excellence in operational performance.
5. Management systems
Ensures the local organization has an effective management system that addresses Quality, Occupational Health Safety and Environmental practices within the operation.
6. People leadership and development
Ensures (with HR Manager’s support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Guides, motivates and develops direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies, for the benefit of both ABB and the employee.
